2. What this policy covers
This policy explains how we handle personal data when you visit this website, contact us, or discuss working with us. When we work with a client, the contract for that engagement also sets out how client data is handled.
3. The information we collect
- What you send us: the details you enter in the contact form (name, work email, company, role, topics of interest and your message), and anything you include in emails or calls with us.
- Basic technical data: like almost every website, our hosting provider records standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) to keep the site running and secure.
- Anonymous visit statistics: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages are useful. It does not use cookies, does not track you across websites, and does not identify you personally.
- No tracking cookies: this website does not set advertising or tracking cookies.
4. How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange a conversation.
- To prepare proposals and, if we work together, to deliver and manage the engagement.
- To keep records we are required to keep by law.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not send you marketing emails unless you have asked to receive them.
5. Our legal basis
We process your data because you have asked us to (consent, which you can withdraw at any time), to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, to perform a contract with you, to meet legal obligations, or where it is in our legitimate interest to run our business and it does not override your rights.
6. Who we share it with
We share personal data only with service providers that help us run this website and our business, acting on our instructions: our website host and analytics provider (Cloudflare), our contact-form provider, our email provider, and the services that deliver the site's fonts (Google Fonts) and animation library (jsDelivr). We may also share data with professional advisers, or with authorities where the law requires it.
7. International transfers
Some of these providers may store or process data outside the United Arab Emirates. Where that happens, we rely on providers that offer appropriate safeguards for your data, as required by applicable law.
8. How long we keep it
If an enquiry does not lead to an engagement, we delete it within 24 months. If we work together, we keep engagement records for as long as UAE law requires for business records, and then delete them.
9. Your rights
Under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law, you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or transfer it, and you can withdraw consent at any time. Email hello@humanyx.ai and we will respond within the time the law requires. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the UAE Data Office.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted connections to this website and access controls on the systems we use.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
